REBECCA ESKREIS - Writer/Director

Rebecca is a filmmaker, writer and artist. Her work has screened at film festivals around the world, including SXSW, deadCenter, Savannah, TIFF, Munich and Thessaloniki. In 2017, her directorial debut project, WHAT BREAKS THE ICE, received the Sandra Adair/EBW Grant from the Austin Film Society and was selected for the Austin Film Society’s Artist Intensive, hosted annually by Richard Linklater. The project was also chosen for the 2016 Women in Film/Producers Guild Financing Lab, sponsored by the Mayor’s Office of New York. Eskreis previously held development and production positions at Clinica Estetico, 72 Productions, and Di Novi Pictures, where she was the creative executive. She began her career as a reporter for Forbes.com. The daughter of South American immigrants, she holds a BA, Magna Cum Laude, from Barnard College at Columbia University and an MFA from the USC School of Cinematic Arts.  In her spare time, she is a painter, aspiring yogi and teacher and mentor for ESL students.

Greta Zozula - Director of Photography

Greta Zozula is a New York City based Cinematographer. Greta first gained attention with her work on Charlotte Glynn’s ‘The Immaculate Reception’ when it premiered at Sundance 14’ and received an Emerging Cinematographers Award. Beyond that, her work on Laura Moss’s ‘Fry Day’ which premiered at SXSW 17’ and went to the Tribeca Film Festival. It later received the Grand Jury Prize at MIFF which put it on the short list for the Oscars.

Later that year Greta started two feature projects. The first was her first narrative feature, Augustine Frizzell’s ‘Never Goin’ Back’ it later premiered at Sundance 18’ and was picked up by A24. The film also played at SXSW and was selected for Sundance London. It had its’ theatrical release August of 2018 and was recently nominated for the John Cassavetes award at the Independent Spirit Awards 19’.

The other film was a documentary feature that she co-DP’d with Shawn Peters. ‘They Fight’ directed by Andrew Renzi and produced by the artist Common was released by FOX on November 11th and had a limited theatrical release in LA and NY.

Greta collaborated on two narrative length features in 2018 - ‘Light From Light’, directed by Paul Harrill and produced by Sailor Bear. Executive Produced by Elisabeth Moss. The second film being ‘What Breaks the Ice’, Directed by Rebecca Eskreis.

Another release for 2018 includes Reed Van Dyk’s ’Interior’ premiered at Toronto International Film Festival.

MEGAN ELIZABETH BELL - Production Designer

Megan Elizabeth Bell is a bicoastal Production Designer and Documentary Producer.  She was raised in Pennsylvania and decided as a high school student that she wanted to pursue a career in production design. She attended Clemson University and with that plan in mind, earned a degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Sculpture and a minor in Business Administration.  Meg's experience spans the worlds of television, feature films and commercials. Recent credits include Snapchat Original Series, BREAKWATER, the independent feature film, OUT OF THE BLUE, directed by Neil LaBute, the independent feature, AMERICAN MURDERER, directed by Matthew Gentile, WHAT BREAKS THE ICE, directed by Rebecca Eskreis, starring Sofia Hublitz, and YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT, directed by David Koepp, produced by Kevin Bacon.

For the past year and a half Meg has been producing a documentary currently titled THE LAST CHIMPANZEE, that follows the final working days and retirement of the very last working great ape in Hollywood and what happens after the spotlight turns off.

Meg is very thankful for all the opportunities she has had and all the collaborators she has worked with.  She can't wait to see where the next project takes her.

BRIANNA QUICK - Costume Designer

Brianna Quick is a California based costume designer and fashion stylist born and raised in Northern California’s Bay Area. As a child, Brianna would costume herself, her siblings, and friends and create musical performances for her parents and neighbors using soundtracks from some of her most loved films. These performances began her interest in using costume and clothing in service to the stories she wanted to tell. 

Brianna’s technical education began in high school with sewing and fashion design courses and eventually led her to West Valley College in Saratoga, CA where she earned an AS in Apparel Design and Technology and designed a line of modern women’s apparel inspired by iconic fashions of the 1930s and 40s. While pursuing her fashion education, Brianna expanded on her creative interests by exploring costume design opportunities for local community theater. Her newly rekindled passion in costuming inspired her to apply to the prestigious UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. She graduated with a BA in Film and Television Production and Costume Design and was the first student at UCLA to study costume design specific to film and television, creating an academic path for other undergraduate film students to follow. To date she has worked in nearly every genre, from sweeping historical dramas, to scifi and horror, to modern comedies and dramas, inspired by the challenges that come with each new project. 

Brianna currently splits her time between Los Angeles and San Francisco working as both a designer and stylist. Some of her recently released design works include Cassidy Red, a female led revisionist western, the theatrical release of Eric England’s drama, Josie, starring Sophie Turner and Dylan McDermott, and the Oscar nominated live action short film, Dekalb Elementary.

KATHRYN SCHUBERT - Editor

Kathryn J. Schubert Editor Kathryn is a NYC-based Editor who began her film career working as an assistant for Kevin Messman on "Life During Wartime” (Todd Solondz). She went on to work as an associate and assistant editor, on a host of well-received independent films including “Only Lovers Left Alive” (Jim Jarmusch), “Beasts of the Southern Wild” (Benh Zeitlin), “Mississippi Grind” (Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck), “Green Room” (Jeremy Saulnier), and “The Wall” (Doug Liman).

In 2014, Kathryn edited her first film and has enjoyed collaborating as editor on many films. Her editing credits include two films with director Michael Almereyda, “Experimenter, The Stanley Milgram Story” (2015 Sundance premiere) and “Marjorie Prime” (2017 Sundance premiere). Kathryn edited the acclaimed “The Transfiguration” (2016 Cannes Un Certain Regard world premiere and 2017 SXSW domestic premiere), directed by Michael O’Shea. She is currently working on “What Breaks the Ice” with director Rebecca Eskreis and is slated for another collaboration with Michael Almereyda in the spring of 2019.

Kathryn was the recipient of the 2017 Sundance Institute Sally Menke Memorial Editing Fellowship and has served as an editing mentor in the IFP Narrative Labs and has taught at The Edit Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Kathryn holds an MA in Philosophy from Cornell University and a BA in Philosophy from Reed College.

ALEX WESTON - Composer

Alex Weston is a composer of music for concert works and film scores. His film scores have premiered at festivals around the world including Sundance, the Berlinale, the Venice Biennale, Slamdance. His score for Lulu Wang’s The Farewell was included on the shortlist for “Best Original Score” for the 2020 Oscars. He also recently scored a film entitled Wander Darkly by director Tara Miele, released by Lionsgate. Weston's music has also been featured on The Affair (Showtime), Jane Fonda in Five Acts (HBO), the Ken Burns-produced documentary The Emperor of All Maladies (PBS), and various projects for NBC, Netflix and others. Alex’s concert works include commissions from the Lyrica Chamber Music Ensemble (a concerto for pianist David Kaplan), ABCIrque, the Utah Wind Symphony, MADArt Creative, Ballet in the City, and others. Alex’s music encapsulates his wide-ranging influences, combining classical structures and orchestration along with more modern harmonic language, electronics, and textures.

BESS FIFER - Casting Director

As a seasoned independent casting director with over a decade of experience, Bess Fifer has played a key role in shaping numerous careers across film and television. 

Bess cut her teeth at New York's most in-demand casting office, Telsey + Company, where she worked on a diverse range of high-profile projects, such as SEX AND THE CITY: THE MOVIE, JONAH HEX, I LOVE YOU PHILLIP MORRIS, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, RENT, IN THE HEIGHTS, and over 100 national commercials. After striking out on her own in 2010, Bess' keen eye for talent and her professionalism have been consistently sought after.

Bess’s most recent projects include SXSW’s 2017 Audience Award Winner THE LIGHT OF THE MOON, the indie features WETLANDS and BORN GUILTY, and POTTERSVILLE for Netflix. Earlier work includes casting THE HUMBLING starring Al Pacino and helmed by legendary Writer/Director/Producer Barry Levinson, and the independent comedy BERT AND ARNIE’S GUIDE TO FRIENDSHIP. 

Associate Casting Director work includes the upcoming Showtime Series ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA as well as 2014’s THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY with Rachel Tenner Casting, both directed by Ben Stiller, Seasons 1 and 2 of MARVEL'S DAREDEVIL as well as Season 1 of LUKE CAGE, with Julie Schubert Casting, and acting as the New York Casting Associate on Season 1 of STRANGER THINGS with Carmen Cuba Casting. Bess also had the pleasure of working with the legendary Peter Bogdanovich on SHE'S FUNNY THAT WAY with Jen Rudin Casting. 

When she's not on the clock casting the features ALASKA, LINGUA FRANCA, CATCHING UP, and WHAT BREAKS THE ICE, Bess can be found swinging kettlebells, listening to rap from the 90's, or brunching with her favorite group of women. Bess Fifer currently resides in New York with her husband Mark, and their 4-legged children Rufus, Pete, and Cozmo.

DUSTIN DUKE DLOUHY - Producer

Dustin Duke Dlouhy was born and raised in Idaho.  He attended the University of Montana on a football scholarship and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.  After graduating, Dustin started in a sales position for an Idaho based construction company.  In recent years he has invested in both residential and commercial real estate.  Looking for new possibilities, he joined several different projects as an Executive Producer.  Dustin considers himself a opportunist, and always has his eyes an ears open for the next opportunity.

MICHAEL CUOMO- Producer

Michael is an award-winning producer and actor of film, television and theatre.  He recently produced and co-starred in THE LIGHT OF THE MOON, written and directed by Jessica M. Thompson, which took home the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at SXSW'17 and sold to Imagination Worldwide and Amazon. The film premiered theatrically in Fall ‘17 with the support of UN Women and is currently streaming on Amazon Prime and all major digital platforms. Cuomo also produced and starred in the critically acclaimed feature film HAPPY NEW YEAR (Snag Films), written and directed by K. Lorrel Manning, executive produced by Iain Smith (CHILDREN OF MEN, THE FOUNTAIN). The film’s premiere at the SXSW and Hamptons International Film Festivals was followed by a successful tour through 16 international film festivals, garnering impressive reviews, winning 6 awards including Cuomo for Best Actor and Manning for Breakout Director (RIIFF). Next up, he’s inked to produce the independent features WHAT BREAKS THE ICE, DEVICES, SIX DINNER PARTIES, AMERICAN SUMMER, RED HOUSE and CLEVELAND. Michael is a proud member of the Producer’s Guild of America (PGA), the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) and Actor’s Equity Association (AEA). In his spare time, he reads to children through the SAG Foundation’s BookPals (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools) and mentors inner-city high school film students through the Ghetto Film School’s industry outreach program. He currently lives in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

MICHAEL W. GRAY - Producer

Michael W. Gray is a film producer & writer/director working under his Relentless Filmz banner. Michael broke onto the scene with the acclaimed mixed martial arts documentary, Fightville. Fightville premiered at the 2011 South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival in Competition and immediately secured distribution in the U.S. and around the world. Anchored with a well-publicized SHOWTIME NETWORKS deal, Fightvillewas the #1 independent film on iTunes for a run, and has played on Netflix and Hulu.

Michael has followed this success with the 2013 TriBeCa Film Festival premiere of A Birder’s Guide to Everything starring Oscar Winning actor Sir Ben Kingsley. Birders was an audience favorite, with a successful theatrical run, and a robust streaming release that included STARZ and global sales and distribution. Other festival notables for Michael include 2014 Sundance Film Festival competition film Jamie Marks Is Dead with Liv Tyler acquired by Gravitas Ventures and Celluoid Dreams. Also, 2015 Slamdance Competition film Body, acquired by Oscilloscope Labs and Archstone, 2016 South by Southwest (SXSW) competition film Long Nights Short Mornings was acquired by Sony’s The Orchard for a US and multiple country release. Other notable releases include Here Alone (TriBeCa Film Fest then Vertical), Light of the Moon (SXSW then Imagination).

Michael maintains working relationships with all of the major agencies in Hollywood as well as many mini major studios, international sales companies and film funds. Michael has several financed films in pre- production, movies running on premium cable, numerous scripts in development, and has written and is producing a large dramatic action film, Hold Your Ground, and a coming of age comedy, American Summer, he’s slated to direct.

KATIE LEARY - Producer

Katie Leary is a producer of award winning independent film, documentary and theater projects, and the Vice President of Entertainment for Vineyard Point Productions. Her recent film, ALL THESE SMALL MOMENTS, premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and was acquired by Orion Classics.

Vineyard Point Productions co-produced several award winning musicals, including the Tony nominated revival of SPRING AWAKENING (2016) and the Tony winner for Best Musical, A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER (2014).  The company's film credits include SUPER TROOPERS 2 (2018), KING COBRA (2016), THE STANFORD PRISON EXPERIMENT (2015), and 4th MAN OUT (2015).

Katie has both an MA & BA in Cinema Studies from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. As part of her graduate studies in the Program in Culture and Media at NYU, Katie directed her first documentary short.

COURTNEY JONES - Producer

Courtney Jones is a Producer, Writer and Photographer who began her career freelancing in Wilmington, North Carolina. She produced AFS grant recipient SHOOT THE MOON RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES, winner of the Indie Memphis 2018 Jury Prize, was Line Producer on the upcoming Diane Paragas film, YELLOW ROSE, and served as an Associate Producer on Caleb Johnson's CARNIVORES. Courtney shoots a myriad of still photography, including set photography on Ethan Hawke's Blaze Foley biopic, BLAZE and Rooster Teeth’s LAZER TEAM 2. She is a self taught composer and pianist who has been honored as a Troubadour at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and has contributed as a composer for short and feature film format. Courtney worked as the Production Director at Production For Use & Louis Black Productions and has worked closely with the Austin Film Society. She now serves as a Producer and Unit Production Manager on independent features.
